Ndihemi të privilegjuar të nderojmë në Edicionin IV të SHARE Tirana 2022, në 3 Mars,
Prof. Dr. Tamara EFTIMI – me çmimin SHARE OPERA OMNIA, në mirënjohje të kontributit të cmuar në fushën e arkitekturës dhe planifikimit urban, të kërkimit shkencor dhe teknologjik, dhe si një nga personalitetet më të spikatura për më tepër se katër dekada, në sferën akademike, influente aktive dhe kontribuese për shumë breza arkitektësh të rinj dhe profesionistë të konsoliduar.
Tamara Eftimi është diplomuar në vitin 1969, në Universitetin e Tiranës, Fakulteti i Inxhinierisë së Ndërtimit, Dega “Ndërtime Qytetare dhe Industriale”. Më tej ka vijuar të zhvilloj praktikën e saj në nivel akademik duke filluar nga viti 1969, si Asistente në Katedrën e Rezistencës Materiale dhe Pedagoge në Katedrën e Arkitekturës, në Universitetin e Tiranës.
Duke filluar nga viti 1974, deri në vitin 1986, ka bashkërenduar angazhimin e saj akademik, me atë të Projektueses Arkitekte pranë “Institutit të Veprave Industriale” dhe “Institutit të Studimit dhe Projektimit të Arkitekturës dhe Urbanistikës Nr.1” Tiranë.
Përgjatë kësaj kohe ka ndjekur specializime pas universitare shumëdisiplinore, ku vlen të përmendet në vitin 1983, specializimi ne Paris, mbi: “Projektimin e Studiove Televizive dhe Qendrave Kulturore”, e cilësuar si e vetmja arkitekte shqipëtare dhe eksperte, në njohjen e plotë shkencore dhe teknologjike mbi studimet akustike.
Në kërkim të një sistemi alternativ modern, ndaj asaj cfarë mbetej tradicionale në mjedisin dhe njohuritë e kufizuara akustike vecanërisht, Tamara Eftimi u bë ideatore, bashkëautore dhe konsulente shkencore e disa prej projekteve më të rëndësishme publike të kohës si: Projekti i Studiove të Zërit, në Kinostudion “Shqipëria e Re”, Projekti i trajtimit akustik të Sallës së Filmit në Ndërmarrjen “Libër-Film”, Projekt-ide teknologjike e zgjerimit perspektiv të RadioTelevizionit Shqipëtar, Projekti akustik i Sallës së Orkestrës Sinfonike dhe të Sallave të Korit dhe Ansamblit Popullor në Teatrin e Operas dhe Baletit, Projektet e trajtimit akustik në Teatrin e Operas dhe Baletit, etj.
Me vendim: Nr.202, dt.25.01.1989, merr titullin “Doktor”, dhe një decadë më vonë, me vendim:Nr.6, dt.18.02.1999, vlerësohet me titullin “Profesor”, ndër pak ata arkitektë në historinë e viteve tranzitore, që mund të ishin në gjendje të akumulonin një eksperiencë të strukturuar dhe të shkëlqyer akademike dhe profesionale.
Hulumtuese, me kombinimin e vlerave dhe cilësive jo të zakonshme, me vizionin e një arkitekteje kontribuese dhe në mjedisin urban dhe atë komunitar, në vitin 1993, i besohet pozicioni si: Anëtare e Rrjetit Europian të Kërkimit në Fushën e Banesave, (E.N.H.R Europian Netëork for Housing Reseach), ndërkohë më pas ndjek në vitin 1996, specializimin mbi “Probleme të Planifikimit të Zonave të Banimit dhe Projektimin e Banesave Kolektive”, Montpellier, Francë.
Në vitin 1997, i besohet pozicioni si Rektore e Universitetit Politeknik të Tiranës dhe njëkohësisht pedagoge në Departamentin e Urbanistikës dhe Arkitekturës, momente që kanë mbetur në memorien e brezave që patën fatin të jenë pranë, nën një komunikim të gjallë, një vizion kritik dhe konstruktiv, me një prani e pakursyer dhe të shkëlqyer.
Nuk mundesh dot me një analizë të përcaktosh nëse Prof. Dr.Tamara EFTIMI, ishte një arkitekte më e vyer në spektrin akademik, apo si arkitekte projektuese, hulumtuese shkencore, kulturologe, dhe pse për mjedisin e arkitektëve mbetet si një nga portretet më të rëndësishme publike akademike me jehonë aktuale.
Ne vitin 2002 Prof. Dr.Tamara EFTIMI nderohet me cmimin, “KALORËS I PALMAVE AKADEMIKE” Akorduar nga Ministria e Kulturës, së Francës.
Me një kontribut të lartë shoqëror, në vazhdim të një forme tjëtër, në rrethin e studiuesve dhe ekspertëve skurpuloz, bëhet pjesë prej vitit 1997-2003 si, Anëtare e Komisionit të Politikave Shkencore dhe Teknologjike, pranë Këshillit të Ministrave të Republikës së Shqipërisë;
Anëtare e Bordit Kombëtar të Programit TEMPUS;
Anëtare e Konferencës së Rektorëve të Universiteteve të Shqipërisë;
Anëtare e “Komitetit të Alliances Française”;
Anëtare e “Agjensisë Kombëtare të Frankofonisë”;
dhe prej vitit 1997, Kryetare e Seksionit për Shkencën dhe Teknologjinë pranë Komisionit të UNESCO-s në Shqipëri, pozicion ky deri në vitin 2003.
Ne vitet 2003 – 2013, nga arkitekte e fjalës së shkruar dhe ndarë, mendimit shkencor dhe jo vetëm, Prof. Dr.Tamara EFTIMI i rikthehet arkitekturës – me kohën që ja ka kursyer për shumëcka dhe fanatizmin se koha shperblehet dhe të kthen pas gjithmonë atë që të përket.
Bashkëthemeluese dhe Drejtuese Teknike e studios së projektimit Atelier4, arkitektja Tamara EFTIMI, ka lënë pas një pasuri veprash arkitekturore, studimesh dhe projektesh të rëndësishme publike dhe private, të cilat me gjithë vështirësitë e një tranzicioni të vazhdueshëm mbajnë gjurmën e një projektuese të admirueshme bashkëkohore, kontekstuale, alternative dhe shpesh monumentale, e vetëdijshme se arkitektura nuk është thjesht cështje strehe.

We feel privileged to honor in the IV Edition of SHARE Tirana 2022, on March 3,
Prof. Dr. Tamara EFTIMI – with the SHARE OPERA OMNIA award, in recognition of her valuable contribution in the field of architecture and urban planning, scientific and technological research, and as one of the most prominent personalities for more than four decades, in the academic field, an active influential and contributor to many generations of young architects and consolidated professionals.
Tamara Eftimi graduated in 1969, at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of “Civil and Industrial Construction”. Further, she continued to develop her internship at the academic level starting from 1969, as an Assistant in the Department of Material Resistance and Lecturer in the Department of Architecture, at the University of Tirana.
Starting from 1974, until 1986, she coordinated her academic engagement with that of the Designer Architect at the “Institute of Industrial Works” and “Institute of Study and Design of Architecture and Urbanism No. 1” Tirana.
During this time she attended post-university multidisciplinary specializations, where it is worth mentioning in 1983, the specialization in Paris, on: “Design of Television Studios and Cultural Centers”, considered as the only Albanian architect and expert with full full scientific and technological recognition on acoustic studies.
In search of a modern alternative system, to what remained traditional in the environment and the limited acoustic knowledge in particular, Tamara Eftimi became the inventor, co-author and scientific consultant of some of the most important public projects of the time such as: The Sound Studios Project in the Film Studio “Shqipëria e Re”, the acoustic treatment project of the Film Hall in the Enterprise “Libër-Film”, the technological concept note of the perspective expansion of the Albanian Radio-Television, te acoustic project of the Symphony Orchestra Hall and the Choir and Folk Ensemble Halls at the Opera and Ballet Theater, the acoustic treatment projects at the Opera and Ballet Theater, etc.
With decision: No. 202, dated 25.01.1989, she received the title “Doctor”, and a decade later, with decision No.6, dated 18.02.1999, she was awarded the title “Professor”, among the few architects in the history of the transition years, who might have been able to accumulate a structured and excellent academic and professional experience.
A researcher, with the combination of unusual values and qualities, with the vision of an architect contributing in the urban and community environment, in 1993, she was entrusted with the position of: Member of the European Housing Research Network, (ENHR European Network for Housing Reseach), and meanwhile she further attended in 1996 the specialization on “Problems of Residential Planning and Design of Collective Housing”, in Montpellier, France.
In 1997, she was entrusted with the position of Rector of the Polytechnic University of Tirana and at the same time lecturer in the Department of Urbanism and Architecture, moments that have remained in the memory of generations who were fortunate to be close, under a lively communication, a critical and constructive vision, with an unsparing and brilliant presence.
You can not determine with a simple analysis whether Prof. Dr. Tamara EFTIMI, was a most valuable architect in the academic spectrum, or as a design architect, scientific researcher, culturologist, and why for the environment of architects remains as one of the most important public academic portraits with a current echo.
In 2002 Prof. Dr. Tamara EFTIMI was honored with the award, “RIDER OF ACADEMIC PALM TREES” Awarded by the Ministry of Culture, France.
With a high social contribution, following another form, in the circle of scholars and scrupulous experts, she became part from 1997-2003 as a Member of the Commission of Scientific and Technological Policies, at the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania;
Member of the National Board of the TEMPUS Program;
Member of the Conference of Rectors of Albanian Universities;
Member of the “Alliance Française Committee”;
Member of the “National Agency of Francophonie”;
and since 1997, Chair of the Section for Science and Technology at the UNESCO Commission in Albania, a position she held until 2003.
In the years 2003 – 2013, from an architect of written word of scientific thought and not only, Prof. Dr. Tamara EFTIMI returned full time to architecture – a time she had saved for many things and the fanaticism that time is rewarded and always turns back what belongs to it.
Co-founder and Technical Director of the design studio Atelier4, architect Tamara EFTIMI, has left behind a wealth of important architectural works, studies and public and private projects, which despite the difficulties of a continuous transition keep the trace of an admirable contemporary, contextual, alternative and often monumental designer, aware that architecture is not simply a matter of shelter.
